| Loving, interactive cat needs new home |

We are looking for a loving new home for our incredibly interactive, affectionate cat. He is a skiddish around strangers, but once he has bonded with one or two people, his love knows no bounds. He greets us at the door, chatters to us, and follows us around the house. We are very sad that his nerves aren't dealing well with our second child (who is about to start walking) and that we need to find him a new home. Louie, a rescued maincoon mix, is 8.5 years old and has a special diet. He is neutered and has always been an indoor cat. I know that he gets along very well with other female cats. Dogs would scare him stupid. We would like to rehome him with someone willing to let us visit once a month or so (bring food, litter, etc.) just to say hi. At least at first.
